Investigation Of Outer Hair Cell Function Of The Cochlea in Psoriasis Patients

Objective: Psoriasis has been accepted as a T-cell mediated systemic disease and inflammation may also cause immune-mediated hearing loss. We aimed to evaluate cochlear function with otoacoustic emission (OAE) measurement in psoriasis patients, whether there is relationship between the duration severity of OAEs. Material Methods: Forty-four patients diagnosed were included study. The control group consisted 35 healthy volunteers. patients' age, gender, onset age disease, family history additional diseases questioned area index (PASI) was calculated.
